The Static Surveillance Team (SST) recovered Rs 47 lakh from a car during checking in the Vaishali Nagar area of Mulund on Thursday, said officials.

Meanwhile, SST officials seized cash worth Rs 45,90,000 from a car at Ramgarh in Jharkhand on Wednesday.

An official of the Static Surveillance Team (SST) told ANI, "During a vehicle check by the Static Surveillance Team (SST) team in Ramgarh on Wednesday, currency notes to the tune of Rs 45,90,000 were recovered from a car."

However, there was no official word yet on whom the car was registered with.
