Hailing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of making India a developed nation by 2047, Union Minister Piyush Goyal said that 'Modi ki Guarantee' starts where other people's efforts fail.

He also called on every worker of Mahayuti -- an alliance between BJP, NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) and Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction) -- to send maximum MPs to the Lok Sabha.

Addressing the Mahayuti Conference in Mumbai, Goyal said, "PM Modi has taken a 'Sankalp', a responsibility to make India a developed nation. For this, all 140 crore Indians, will have to work with full unity and dedication."

He affirmed that it is the duty of every Mahayuti worker to take the development of the last 10 years to every house and send a huge number of MPs to Parliament to strengthen PM Modi.

"It is the responsibility of every worker of Mahayuti to send as many blessings to PM Modi as possible from Maharashtra, send as many MPs as possible to the Lok Sabha...It is our duty to give more and more votes to Mahayuti and elect more MPs so that we can strengthen PM Narendra Modi...We must go door to door and tell people about the central government's work and schemes in the last 10 years," he said.

Heaping praise for 'Modi ki Guarantee', the Union Minister said, "PM Modi has set big targets for the coming years, and has given the 'guarantee' to fulfil them. And we all know 'Modi ki guarantee' starts from where other's efforts fail."

Piyush Goyal is contesting the Lok Sabha elections for the first time. He has been fielded by the BJP from the Mumbai North constituency.

Goyal has held various positions in the government. He is currently serving as the Union Minister of Commerce and Industry and Textiles. He had earlier also held the portfolios of Railways, Coal and Power.

Lok Sabha polls in Maharashtra will be held in five phases on April 19, April 26, May 7, May 13 and May 20. The counting of votes will be held on June 4.

The state, with its 48 Lok Sabha seats, is the second-largest contributor to the lower house of Parliament after Uttar Pradesh. Known for its political diversity and significant electoral influence, Maharashtra plays a crucial role in shaping national politics. (ANI)
