After Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expanded his cabinet, Bihar Minister Jibesh Kumar on Wednesday thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that the pace of the work will be high in the state.

"I am grateful to the Prime Minister, the Union Home Minister, the national president, our CM and Deputy CMs for giving me this opportunity. This time, the pace of the work will be high as we have to do much work in less time," Kumar told ANI.

BJP MP Sanjay Jaiswal congratulated all the new ministers and said that every district is represented.

"Congratulations to all the new ministers. Every district is represented. We will definitely achieve our target of winning more than 200 seats. This was pending for a long time when the Chief Minister took the decision and yesterday the National President came and talked to him, it happened immediately," Jaiswal said.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday expanded his cabinet with seven Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs taking oath as ministers.

Sanjay Saraogi, Sunil Kumar, Jibesh Mishra, Krishna Kumar Mantoo, Motilal Prasad, Vijay Kumar Mandal and Raju Kumar Singh took oath as ministers.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister, Samrat Chaudhary, congratulated the newly inducted ministers and said they will work for Bihar's development.

"I congratulate all seven ministers who will work for the development of Bihar under the leadership of CM Nitish Kumar," Chaudhary said.

Bihar BJP president Dilip Jaiswal said that both the government and the people will benefit from the experience of new members of the cabinet.

"Those who have been made ministers today have a long experience and both the government and the public will benefit from it," Jaiswal said.
