Himachal CM, Dy CM pay tribute to army jawan killed in J-K's Kishtwar

Himachal Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri expressed condolences to the family of the army jawan, Naib Subedar Rakesh Kumar, who lost his life during a gunfight between the security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district, a release said.

Naib Subedar Rakesh Kumar was a resident of Barnog village, Chhamyar Panchayat, in the Nachan Assembly Constituency of Mandi district. Naib Subedar Kumar lost his life in an encounter with terrorists in the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Chief Minister Sukhu said the nation will forever honour the ultimate sacrifice of this brave soldier.

He further extended his heartfelt condolences to the grieving family members and prayed for the peace of the departed soul, it added.

Deputy Chief Minister Agnihotri also said that the nation and the state would always be indebted for the selfless and supreme sacrifice of this brave son.

He prayed the almighty to bless peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss, read the release. (ANI)
