Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met delegations from various parts of the state and representatives of different organisations at the Mukhya Sevak Sadan, located at the Chief Minister's residence.
During the meeting, the delegations congratulated the Chief Minister on becoming the longest-serving Chief Minister of Uttarakhand and extended their best wishes. Among those who called on the Chief Minister were representatives of the Gurudwara Sabha, BJP Mahila Morcha, the State Farmers' Commission, Akhil Garhwal Sabha, and the Provincial Development Service Organisation. The representatives appreciated the state government's efforts under Chief Minister Dhami's leadership in promoting good governance, development, and public welfare. Expressing his gratitude, Chief Minister Dhami said the honour and greetings reflected the trust and support of the 12.5 million people of Uttarakhand. He said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government remains committed to the holistic and balanced development of Uttarakhand, with a focus on ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach the last person in society. The Chief Minister said the government is continuously working to set new benchmarks in development by giving the highest priority to transparency, good governance, public service, and welfare. He added that the participation of every section of society, social organisations, and public representatives is vital for the state's overall development, and the government will continue to work with their support and suggestions to take Uttarakhand to new heights of progress. On the occasion, the visiting delegations presented bouquets and mementoes to the Chief Minister and conveyed their best wishes for the successful implementation of development and public welfare initiatives in the state. Meanwhile, CM Dhami, along with Union Minister for Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju, inaugurated the Lok Samvardhan Mela in Dehradun on Saturday. The fair has brought together artisans from different parts of the country, showcasing a rich diversity of traditional crafts and cultural heritage. The Lok Samvardhan Mela is providing international exposure to Uttarakhand's local craftsmanship while serving as a significant platform for women and young artisans to promote and preserve their traditional skills.
