With winter approaching, the Ayodhya area in Uttar Pradesh on Monday experienced a foggy morning.
A resident of Ayodhya said that the winters are approaching as in the morning the weather seems to be cold. "October was very warm but as soon as we entered November, it seemed to be cold. It was cold and foggy yesterday morning also. There is fog today as well," he said. Another resident of the city said that the weather is changing as there has been fog in the morning for the past two days. A resident said that the weather has gradually changed it seems that it will be colder from here on. "Weather has changed. There is fog in the morning. It seems that it will be colder from here on... It becomes colder in November...Weather changes gradually," another resident of the Ayodhya said. Earlier today in Delhi, a thin layer of smog engulfed the national capital as the Air quality index in Delhi remained in the "very poor" category. The AQI of Delhi was recorded above 300 at 7 AM on Monday in many areas of the national capital, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). At around 7.00 AM on Monday, New Moti Bagh recorded an AQI of 400, RK Puram at 393, Dwarka Sector 8 at 393, and ITO at 349. All these areas reported 'very poor' air quality levels, posing significant health risks. An AQI is considered "poor" between '200 and 300', "very poor" at '301 and 400', "severe" at '401-450" and 450 and above, is "severe plus." (ANI)
