Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Saturday inaugurated Terminal 1 of Jaipur International Airport and said that the inauguration of the international terminal is a symbol of progress in the state.
During the inauguration of Terminal 1 of Jaipur International Airport, the Director of Airports (Adani Group) Jeet Adani was also present. "The inauguration of this international terminal is a symbol of progress in the development of our state. This is the first international terminal in Rajasthan. It has a lot of facilities. Passengers will get better facilities... It has been built keeping in mind the culture and tradition of Rajasthan," CM Sharma said. He further said that the Rajasthan State Investment Summit is going to be held in December. "Rajasthan State Investment Summit is going to be held in December, so guests from all over the world are going to come here, so definitely we will get its benefit here too," he added. He further mentioned that the capacity of Jaipur Airport is 65 lakh, which will be increased to 3 crore 80 lakh in the coming years. "The current travel capacity of Jaipur Airport is 65 lakh, which will be increased to 3 crore 80 lakh in the coming years...My effort is to increase the number of investors and tourists in Rajasthan," he said.
