"We have discussed with the Science and Technology Department Minister Keshab Mahanta to organise the Science Fair. The Science and Technology Department and its allied departments will also help. We have also contacted with Oil Museum, Railways, IIT Guwahati, Dibrugarh University, Assam Agriculture University and other organisations," he added.

He further said that the student community of the state will benefit from this Science Fair.

"We will organise this as a part of the initiatives taken by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Various science-related activities will also be done during the 5-day long conference," Ranjeet Kumar Dass said.
