Indore (Madhya Pradesh) [India], April 6: Medicaps University has announced that the Medicaps University Scholarship cum Admission Test (MU-SAT) and MLAT 2026 will be conducted on April 16, 2026, as part of the admission process for the 2026-27 academic session. The national-level examination is designed to offer students an opportunity to secure admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes while also becoming eligible for merit-based scholarships. The last date to apply for MUSAT/MLAT is 15th April, 2026.

MU-SAT serves as a gateway for admission across multiple academic disciplines offered by the university, including engineering, management, commerce, pharmacy, science, agriculture, allied sciences, languages, arts, humanities, and social sciences. The Medicaps Law Admission Test (MLAT 2026-27) is a national-level entrance exam and scholarship test mandatory for admission to law programmes. The amount of the scholarship depends on the performance of the student in MU-SAT 2026-27 / MLAT 2026-27 & the fee of the program.

The examination will be conducted online and will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Candidates will have a total duration of 90 minutes to complete the MUSAT test while the MLAT examination will be held for 120 mins. The exam pattern varies according to the level and stream of the programme applied for. For undergraduate programmes, the test will include questions from the candidate's stream subjects such as PCM, PCB, commerce, arts, or agriculture, along with an aptitude section. Lateral entry candidates from diploma backgrounds and applicants to postgraduate programmes will be assessed primarily through aptitude-based questions.

Students who have passed or are appearing for Class 12, diploma, or final-year graduation examinations are eligible to apply for MU-SAT for the upcoming academic cycle. The application process requires candidates to register through the official Medicaps admissions portal, complete the application form, and pay the applicable fee to confirm participation in the test.

Eligibility for the 5-year integrated law programme is based solely on Class 12 qualification, and candidates who have passed or are appearing for their Class 12 examinations are eligible to apply for law admissions 2026. Through MLAT 2026, Medicaps University offers admissions to its BA LL.B. (Hons.) and BBA LL.B. (Hons.) programmes. These integrated courses are structured to combine strong theoretical foundations with experiential learning, including moot court training, legal research, advocacy skills, and continuous academic mentoring.

By combining the admission process with a structured scholarship opportunity, MU-SAT and MLAT aims to support meritorious students and provide access to higher education across diverse fields of study at Medicaps University.

Students interested in appearing for the examination are encouraged to complete their applications in advance to secure their slot for the April 16, 2026 test.
