Sharma, Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Palau to India, was conferred with the prestigious 'Consul of the Year' Award at the Consular Day 2026 celebration organised by the Honorary Consular Corps Diplomatique - India (HCCD-India) in the national capital. The evening brought together distinguished members of the diplomatic community, including ambassadors, high commissioners, honorary consuls, officials from the Ministry of External Affairs, and prominent members of Delhi's social circles. The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), along with Guest of Honour H.E.
