iQor, a global managed services provider embedded in the flow between product, people, and services, announced that it has named Deepak Batheja as its Chief Digital Officer and Group CIO.

In his new role, Batheja is responsible for leading digital strategy, technology operations, and iQor’s Data Solutions and Analytics practice. He will also lead R&D, innovation, and product development for iQor’s technology services and solutions.

“Digital transformation is disrupting industries, changing business models and creating new ways to support products and service customers,” said Hartmut Liebel, CEO of iQor.

“Deepak is a pioneer in deploying technology-led transformations for world-renowned organizations. His experience building next generation artificial intelligence (AI), automation, BPaaS platforms and other leading edge technologies will no doubt help iQor and our clients lead the way in customer-centric digital transformations.”

Batheja is a well-known innovator who has developed and leveraged AI, machine learning (ML), natural language processing (NLP), and automation platforms to digitize and transform business models.

Batheja joins iQor from Interactions, where, as EVP, Technology and CIO, he was responsible for the development and expansion of AI offerings and the oversight of the company’s groundbreaking speech & language platform.

Prior to that, he served as CTO at Sutherland Global Services where he ran mission-critical global technology operations, launched award-winning automation technologies, and digitized the business while extending the company’s intellectual property footprint. Batheja has also held senior posts at Deloitte, Unisys, and SunGard, among others.

“I’m thrilled to join iQor,” said Batheja. “The company has built a deep foundation of proprietary technology and analytic solutions and I’m excited to partner with iQor’s clients to help them reach their business objectives by transforming their support ecosystems and accelerating their digital journeys.”

Batheja has received numerous awards and recognition from industry publications and organizations. For four consecutive years, he was recognized by InformationWeek as a Top-250 executive for technology-enabled business transformations. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and an MS degree in Distributed Computing.
