The Indian contingent continued their great show at the ongoing Para Asian Games in Hangzhou, with athlete Nimisha getting a gold medal in the women's long jump T47 event on Wednesday.
In the women's long jump T47 event, Nimisha registered a jump of 5.15 m to secure the gold. Sri Lanka's Wickramasingha Arachchcig got the silver medal with her jump of 4.89 m while Dissanayakka Mudiyaselage J (4.76 m) got the bronze for SL as well. "GOLD ALERT! India's performance in 2018 games at Indonesia, which earned them 15 gold, 24 silver and 33 bronze and a total of 72 medals, is their best so far.
