Indian athlete Pooja secured a silver medal at the ongoing Para Asian Games in Hangzhou in women's discus throw on Wednesday.
In the women's javelin throw F54/55 event, Pooja finished second with her personal best throw of 18.17 m. With a throw of 26.35 m, Feixia Dong of China took home the gold. Uzbekistan's Nurkhon Kurbanova bagged the bronze medal with a throw of 17.45 m. India's performance in 2018 games at Indonesia, which earned them 15 gold, 24 silver and 33 bronze and a total of 72 medals, is their best so far.
