The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) staged another protest rally in Yakmach City of the Chagai district of Balochistan to continue their campaign against the ongoing enforced disappearances by the Pakistan armed forces on Wednesday.

The protest rally started in high school and then advanced towards CPEC Road. There were a large number of people who joined the protest, marking the spirit of unity among the protesters.

In a post on X, the BYC stated, "The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) organised a protest rally in Yak Mach as part of its ongoing campaign against the oppression of the Baloch people, systemic Baloch genocide, and enforced disappearances. The rally began at the high school and proceeded to CPEC Road, gathering many Yak Mach residents who joined in solidarity."

On Tuesday, a similar protest took place in Dalbandin, Balochistan, demanding immediate release of victims. Internet services went down during the demonstrations and the Pakistani armed forces used violence to curb the protest.

The Baloch Yakjehti Committee further highlighted, "Internet services were down during the protest. Despite several hurdles, disturbances and challenges created by state authorities, BYC will stand against oppression and will continue its mission to expose state atrocities."

Earlier, Baloch activist Mahrang Baloch urged the masses to join the protest against the enforced disappearances. In return, a large number of residents joined the protest in the Chagai district.

The BYC has started the protest under the theme "Breaking the Silence: Standing Against Enforced Disappearances." The committee continues to fight against the oppression and enforced disappearances in the state.

There is a fear-like situation in the state due to the ongoing disappearances and tactics used by the Pakistan armed forces. But the Baloch people are standing in solidarity against such measures taken by the forces. (ANI)
