Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], September 2: Blue Machines AI, an advanced agentic CX operating system for enterprises, today announced Project Icebreaker, a sovereign AI co-innovation program for India's banking and financial services sector, ahead of the Global Fintech Fest (GFF) 2026.

Under Project Icebreaker, Blue Machines AI will partner with five financial institutions operating in India - including banks, NBFCs, insurers and fintechs - to implement their most ambitious CX AI initiatives in production. Blue Machines AI's multi-crore investment will cover access to its platform and proprietary technology, solution architecture, use-case engineering, enterprise integrations, model configuration, guardrails, testing and evaluation, deployment within the institution's chosen environment, and production go-live support. The agreed platform, engineering and deployment capacity will be provided at no cost to the participating organisations.

Project Icebreaker is aimed at moving complex AI initiatives beyond demonstrations and proofs of concept. Selected enterprises will work with Blue Machines AI to build agentic customer journeys in which AI can understand context, interact with business systems, take permitted actions, and coordinate across digital channels and human teams to drive outcomes end-to-end.

For Blue Machines AI, sovereign AI means enabling enterprises to maintain control over their data, models, workflows and deployment architecture. The platform can be deployed within an enterprise VPC, private cloud or on-premise environment, allowing regulated institutions to operate AI within their security, compliance and data-governance boundaries.

Blue Machines AI's proprietary technology stack brings together multilingual and Indian-language intelligence, speech-to-text, language and code-switching detection, turn intelligence, agentic orchestration, observability, data redaction and production-inference infrastructure. This enables financial institutions to deploy AI across complex customer journeys rather than limit it to standalone bots or individual channels.

"Production-grade AI in BFSI must do far more than generate accurate responses. It must maintain context across channels, integrate securely with core enterprise systems and operate within clearly defined guardrails. In a regulated environment, guardrails are non-negotiable: every action must be permitted, traceable and auditable," said Abhishek Ranjan, Chief Technology Officer, Blue Machines AI. "Through Project Icebreaker, we are bringing our sovereign AI architecture, proprietary technology stack and engineering capacity to five ambitious initiatives. It is a step towards enabling Indian financial institutions to lead the next phase of secure, responsible AI adoption at scale."

Blue Machines AI is inviting CX AI initiatives across acquisition, onboarding, lending, collections, servicing, payments, insurance, claims, renewals, wealth management, grievance resolution, retention and customer support. The proposed initiatives may span voice, chat, web, email and other digital channels and should have the potential to create measurable customer, operational or commercial impact at scale.

For each selected initiative, Blue Machines AI and the participating organisation will jointly define the scope, deployment architecture, integrations, responsibilities, implementation timeline and success metrics.

Financial institutions can submit their CX AI initiatives until 11 September 2026 at project-icebreaker.bluemachines.ai
