The Delhi Police Special Cell registered a First Information Report (FIR) against online fantasy sports platform Real11 Fantasy Sports LLP and its top officials following allegations of large-scale cyber and financial fraud exceeding 4.34 crore.

The action follows a directive issued by a local court on September 15, 2026, leading to the formal registration of the case by the Special Cell on September 18.

The FIR was lodged based on a complaint filed by advocate Ajay Kumar Kasana. He claimed losses over 4.34 crore were incurred through alleged platform manipulation and restricted withdrawals.

The complainant claimed to have deposited approximately 1.39 crore on the Real11 app across Financial Years 202425 and 202526. While the platform displayed accumulated winnings of nearly 1.31 crore, he was allegedly allowed to withdraw only around 26 lakh.

Kasana alleged that after the partial withdrawal, his account access was unilaterally blocked. The complaint further accuses the operators of altering backend dashboard data to wipe access to transaction histories and earned winnings.

The FIR named Lalit Yadav and Amit Yadav, identified in the complaint as key figures associated with Real11, alongside several unknown co-conspirators.

Investigating agencies are closely scrutinizing multiple debit card transactions routed through Paytm and HDFC Bank between March and July 2025.

Prior to court intervention, the complainant had raised formal grievances on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCRP) as well as with the Ghaziabad Police.

The Delhi Police Special Cell has booked the accused under multiple stringent provisions of Indian criminal and cyber laws.

The accused have been charged under Sections 316, 318 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for criminal breach of trust, cheating and joint liability.

They have also been booked under Sections 43 and 66 of the Information Technology (IT) Act for unauthorized access to computer systems, data tampering and cyber fraud. In addition, Section 3 of the Delhi Public Gambling Act has been invoked for owning, keeping or having charge of a gaming house.

Delhi Police investigators will conduct a detailed forensic audit of the platforms application data, server logs, financial transactions, and banking channels to verify the allegations raised in the complaint. (ANI)
