Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin, who is currently on a two-day organisational visit to Uttar Pradesh, visited the iconic Hanuman Setu Temple in Lucknow on Saturday to offer prayers.

He was accompanied by the state BJP president, Pankaj Chaudhary, as part of a high-profile tour aimed at intensifying the party's preparations for the upcoming 2027 Assembly elections.

Following his visit to the temple, the BJP National President shared his vision for the state, emphasising the importance of spiritual grounding alongside political progress.

"I believe that one must seek the blessings of Lord Hanuman, and since today is Saturday, it is certainly fitting to remember the Lord and seek His blessings so that Uttar Pradesh may be blessed with all forms of happiness, peace, and prosperity," Nabin stated.

He further linked the state's spiritual well-being to its ongoing development, adding, "As the state advances on the path of development, I pray that the health and prosperity of all its citizens also continue to grow."

The visit is a critical component of Nabin's mission to realign the state unit's strategy following the recent reorganisation of the party's team in Uttar Pradesh. Throughout his two-day stay, the BJP chief is engaging in a series of high-level meetings with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, senior state leaders, and NDA representatives to discuss booth-level management and election campaigning strategies.

Earlier, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, accompanied by state BJP president Pankaj Chaudhary, received BJP National President Nitin Nabin with a grand welcome at the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport on Saturday, marking the start of a crucial two-day organisational tour of the state.

The visit is being seen as significant for strengthening the party organisation ahead of upcoming political developments, including the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections next year. (ANI)
