"Addresses all good work": Nayab Singh Saini on 120th episode of 'Mann Ki Baat'

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday said that in the 120th episode of the monthly 'Mann Ki Baat' radio program, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed all the key work done by various citizens of the country.

Saini had listened to PM Modi's programme in Kurukshetra.

"Today, I listened to PM Modi's Mann Ki Baat program. I extend my wishes to everyone on the occasion of Navratri. Every month, PM Modi does Mann Ki Baat. In it, he addresses all the good work done by the various citizens of the country, which inspires other people...", the Haryana chief minister said while addressing reporters on Sunday.

In his address, the Prime Minister mentioned the stellar work done by several cities, mentioning Panipat in Haryana among others in the field of dealing with the growing textile waste in the country.

"Friends, some cities are also carving a new identity for themselves in dealing with textile waste. Panipat in Haryana is emerging as a global hub for textile recycling. Bengaluru is also creating a distinct identity for itself with innovative tech solutions. More than half of the textile waste is collected here, which is an example for our other cities as well. Similarly, Tirupur in Tamil Nadu is engaged in textile waste management through wastewater treatment and renewable energy," PM Modi said.

The Prime Minister also talked about the recently concluded Khelo India Para Games and extended greetings for the players including from Haryana, who participated in para sports.

"...the players surprised everyone with their dedication and talent, once again. This time more players participated in these games than earlier. This shows how popular Para Sports is becoming. I congratulate all the players participating in the Khelo India Para Games for their sterling efforts. My best wishes for the players of Haryana, Tamil Nadu and UP for securing the first, second and third positions, respectively. During these games, our divyang players also set 18 national records," the PM said in his broadcast.

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi also extended greetings as the country began its vibrant month of multiple festivals. The Prime Minister highlighted how such festivals underline the country's unity in diversity.

The PM said, "These festivals happen at different parts of the country, but these show how unity is woven in the diversity of India, we must keep strengthening this feeling of unity."

"Today is the Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha of the month of Chaitra, today marks the beginning of Chaitra Navratri, also beginning Indian New Year, Vikram Samvat is starting. I have many of your letters in front of me, some of which are from Bihar,some from Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat , people have sent their mann ki baat in various ways. I wish to read some of the messages," PM Modi said.

The Prime Minister read the multiple letters in various languages addressed to him wishing him on the occasion of Ugadi, Sansar Padwa, Gudi Padwa, Hindu New year among other festivals. (ANI)
