Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education and IT Nara Lokesh has congratulated Guttikonda Manojna from the state for scoring a perfect 100 per cent in JEE (Mains) - 2025.

The minister said that hard work is the only way to achieve great heights in life, and there are no shortcuts to success.

Lokesh said, "You have made the state proud. I wish you even greater success and hope you reach new heights." He also assured full support, giving Manojna his contact number and saying, "If you ever need anything, just send me a message."

Understanding the crucial role of parents in a child's success, the minister honoured Manojna's mother. He also spoke with Manojna's father, a mechanical engineering professor, about curriculum reforms.

"My vision is to align the curriculum with industry needs and to prepare job-ready youth," Lokesh stated.

He further emphasized that his goal is not just to provide jobs but also to empower the youth to become job creators. He explained the reforms being implemented in the KG-to-PG education system.

Raising a critical question, Lokesh said, "How is it that a student who studies engineering for four years struggles to find a job, while someone taking a four-month course in Ameerpet secures employment? My vision is to ensure that students are job-ready as soon as they graduate."

The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the results for the first paper of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Mains), the B.E./B.Tech paper on Tuesday. According to the testing agency, the results of the 2nd paper, of B.Arch/B. Planning will be declared later.

Paper one of JEE Mains was conducted on January 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29 this year.

According to the NTA, 14 people obtained a score of 100 on the paper, with five students from Rajasthan; two students each from Delhi and Uttar Pradesh; one student each from Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana obtaining the full marks. (ANI)
