Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary called the party's victory in Delhi polls as a "victory of development over deception..."

Speaking to ANI Samrat Choudhary said, "This is the victory of development over deception..." Meanwhile, Parvesh Verma, the BJP's winning candidate from the New Delhi assembly seat, highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's gratitude towards the people of the national capital following the election results.

Speaking on PM Modi's address, Verma stated, "PM Narendra Modi has thanked the people of Delhi," underlining the Prime Minister's acknowledgement of the public's support.

Meanwhile, BJP's winning candidate from the Bijwasan assembly seat, Kailash Gehlot said, "This is the victory of the people of Delhi and Prime Minister Modi. When I resigned (from AAP), I had said that this is not the AAP of 2015 and this is the result of false promises made (by AAP) to the people of Delhi."

Following the BJP's victory in the Delhi Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday stated that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is synonymous with 'Vikas ki Guarantee' (guarantee for development) and good governance.

"NDA means 'Vikas ki Guarantee' and 'guarantee of good governance,'" PM Modi said while addressing a gathering at the BJP headquarters.

Citing examples of BJP-led governance in states where the NDA is in power, PM Modi pointed out the law and order challenges Uttar Pradesh faced before the BJP government took charge, particularly concerning women's safety.

"At one point in time, the law and order problem remained in Uttar Pradesh. The major challenge was for women. Dimaagi bukhaar (encephalitis) wreaked havoc. However, we worked determined to resolve it," PM Modi said.

He also highlighted how the BJP government in Maharashtra launched the 'Jalyukt Shivar Abhiyan' to address the water crisis faced by farmers.

"In Maharashtra, every year due to drought farmers were suffering. However, we started initiatives like Jalyukt Shivar to resolve the water problem for the farmers," PM Modi said. (ANI)
