This fair serves to preserve our rich traditions. It has had cultural ties with Nepal and Tibet for centuries, read the official statement further.

Expansion in road connectivity has made it easier for farmers to transport their produce to the market. The Chief Minister said that modern roads, tunnels and bridges are being constructed in border areas.

The development of border areas is among the top priorities of the government. Many action plans have been approved for the development of these areas. Under the Manaskhand Mandir Mala Mission, 16 mythological temples are being developed in the first phase.
