"World going to witness Deepotsav at Ayodhya Ram Mandir," says UP Dy CM Brajesh Pathak

Ahead of Diwali celebrations in Ayodhya Ram Mandir, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak on Wednesday expressed joy and said that the world is going to witness this divine event. He further extended best wishes to all the people of the state over the same.

"The Diwali celebration is going to scatter amazing shades in Ayodhya as Lord Ram Lalla has been consecrated in its rightful place in Ayodhya this time. The world is going to witness the event. There is going to be a world record this time as over 25 lakh diyas will be lit. I extend my wishes to the people of the entire state," said Pathak.

Earlier in the day, Uttar Pradesh minister Jaiveer Singh said that this is the first 'Deepotsav' after the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and every effort has been made to give grandeur, and divinity to this programme.

Many things will be made to create new records this year. In today's program, the Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat will be here," said Jaiveer Singh.

"CM Yogi Adityanath will attend the event...Artists are coming from many countries. The special thing this year will be that we have managed to light 28 lakh diyas by breaking all our previous records. Apart from this, we will also perform Aarti with 1,100 diyas at the Sarayug Ghat with 1,100 Vedacharyas. That too will create a new record in the Guinness Book of World Records..." the Uttar Pradesh minister emphasised further.

Notably, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath invited everyone to participate in the grand festival and witness the world record attempt of lighting the diyas.

The UP government is all set to attempt a Guinness World Record by trying to light over 25 lakh diyas in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, on the occasion of Deepotsav. During the aarti of the festival today, another record will be attempted as over 1,100 people perform the largest aarti together on Saryu Ghat.

Deepotsav, a five-day festival, commemorates Lord Rama's return to Ayodhya after a 14-year exile. The event showcases Ayodhya's cultural and spiritual significance, attracting millions of devotees and tourists. (ANI)
