As the Bhartiya Janata party leads in Haryana according to the latest trends by the Election Commission, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari on Tuesday said that he could see the blueprint of the results while campaigning in the state.Referring to the discussions which took place ahead of the results, predicting Congress party's victory in the state due to the anti incumbency as the major factor, Manoj Tiwari said that the sentiments on the ground were different from what was shown on television debates. Tiwari, who was one of BJP's star campaigner for the Haryana Assembly elections said that the people of Haryana have chosen those who do actual work for the state with honesty.

"I have been a (BJP) star campaigner for Haryana...wherever I went...the truth on the ground is very different...we are not taking this as pride but respect of people...we could see the blueprint of the results earlier itself...now it has become clear that...people are ready to walk with those who do work, are honest," Tiwari said as the Bhartiya Janata party gains victory in 27 seats and leads in 23 seats.Meanwhile, Congress party's Vinesh Phogat emerged victorious in Julana Assambly Constituency in Haryana as she defeated Bharitya Janta Party (BJP) candidate Yogesh Kumar as per the Election Commission of India. The former wrestler defeated her rival with a margin of 5761 votes.Congress leader and wrestler Bajrang Punia who joined the Congress along with Punia only days prior to the Haryana Assembly elections took to social media to congratulate Vinesh."Many congratulations to the country's daughter Vinesh Phogat for her victory. This fight was not just for one Julana seat, it was not just with 3-4 other candidates, it was not just a fight between parties. This fight was against the strongest oppressive forces in the country. And Vinesh emerged victorious," Bajrang Punia wrote on X.

Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh had earlier in the day alleged that there is a slowing down in uploading up-to-date trends in the Haryana Assembly election's vote counting on the Election Commission website. In its official reply, the ECI dismissed these concerns, stating that the counting of votes is being conducted as per Rule 60 of the Conduct of Election Rules."With reference to your today's Memorandum regarding the slowdown in updating the results of Haryana on the ECI Website, it is reiterated that the entire counting process in Haryana and J-K is unfolding in the presence of candidates, observers and micro-observers as per the Statutory scheme. There is nothing on record to substantiate your ill-founded allegation of the slowdown in updating of results. Your Memorandum also does not bring out any contrary facts as to the delay at any of the constituencies in Haryana or J&K", said ECI in its response to Ramesh's memorandum. The commission also mentioned that similar concerns were raised by the Indian National Congress (INC) during the 2024 General Elections, which were dismissed. It emphasised that the counting process was being carried out smoothly and transparently. The ECI further clarified that Ramesh's memorandum did not provide any factual evidence to substantiate claims of delays at any specific constituency. (ANI)
