Haryana: Moving car catches fire, no casualties reported

A moving car caught fire near the toll plaza road in Jhajjar district of Haryana on Thursday. The blaze was doused and the situation is under control, officials said

According to the fire official, no injuries or casualties were reported in the incident.

Assistant Sub-Inspector of Jhajjar, Rajpal Singh said that firecrackers were found at the spot of the incident.

ASI Rajpal Singh of Dial 112 service said, "There was no loss of life in the incident. Fire has been extinguished and the situation is under control. The reason for fire is yet to be ascertained, however, every passenger is safe. (Firecrackers) have been found at the spot of the incident. We are investigating the reasons behind the fire."

Earlier in the day, in a separate incident, a fire broke out at a tyre factory at Bohla village in Uttar Pradesh's Baghpat district, fire department officials said.

According to the officials, the fire engulfed the tyre factory located in the Kotwali area at Bohla village in Baghpat. Visuals from the site showed thick black smoke rising from the blaze. (ANI)
