Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday held a meeting at the residence of party president Jagat Prakash Nadda to discuss the Delhi Assembly elections.

According to sources, the issues of unauthorised colonies in Delhi, slums, water problemsand electricity bills were discussed.

The meeting also addressed the strategic plan of the BJP to attack the Aam Aadmi Party government on corruption.

According to sources, in the meeting, the high command was directed to make a road map for the preparation of Delhi Assembly elections within 7 days. Instructions have been given to bring the merits of the central government to the public and to make a strategy to win the assembly elections. Speaking further, the source said that Delhi Assembly elections are to be held in February 2025.

The BJP will contest the assembly elections with full strength as it is eyeing to win the 70 assembly seats in Delhi.

According to sources, strategies like exposing the shortcomings and corruption of Arvind Kejriwal in front of the public and highlighting the achievements of the central government in front of the people of Delhi as much as possible have been discussed.

Congress could not win a single seat in the Delhi assembly polls held in 2020. While AAP won 62 out of the 70 seats, the BJP secured eight seats in the last assembly polls. (ANI)
