Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday paid tributes to the leader of Bhartiya Jana Sangh, Deendayal Upadhyaya, on his 107th birth anniversary, recalling his dedication and service to the country. The Prime Minister highlighted the late politicians concept of "Antyodaya" which means to ensure the rise and development of the last person in society. "Tributes to the great nationalist thinker Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya on his birth anniversary. His concept of Antyodaya will play an invaluable role in achieving the resolution of a developed India. His dedication and service to the country will remain unforgettable," Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote in a post on X.Several other leaders including Union Minister Kiren Rijiju and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also offered heartfelt tribute to the nationalist leader.Union Minister Kiren Rijiju participated in a 'Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2024' at a park near Pandit Deendayal Antyodaya Bhawan (Ministry of Minority Affairs)"Paying heartfelt tributes to Pandit #DeendayalUpadhyaya on his birth anniversary. BJP national president JP Nadda also paid floral tributes to the late politician at party headquarters in Delhi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah remembered the leader for being a proponent of the "integral humanism" ideology who was committed to purity in politics."I pay my tribute to the ardent patriot, pioneer of integral humanism and great political thinker Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya on his birth anniversary. Deen Dayal ji remained committed to purity and transparency in politics throughout his life. His idea of Antyodaya strengthened social harmony.
