Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami highlighted the achievements of the BJP government at the Centre in the past 10 years at an election rally in Haryana's Panchkula in the run-up to the assembly elections.

Addressing the public rally at Sector 15, Panchkula, to appeal for the victory of BJP candidate Gyan Chand Gupta, CM Dhami said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has developed in all directions in the last few years. Along with the country, Haryana has also joined the category of rapidly developing states, he said.

He added that in the last few years, the BJP government has strengthened internet connectivity to every village. CM Dhami also said that in the last ten years, elevated roads, flyovers, and underpasses have been constructed rapidly in Haryana.

"Along with air connectivity and railway connectivity, Haryana has also become known for its excellent road connectivity. Today, the work of many express corridors, including Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway, Ambala Mandi Express Corridor, and Amritsar-Bhatinda-Jamnagar Expressway is going on at a fast pace in Haryana," he said.

He said that the two Vande Bharat trains which are being operated in Haryana, have made connectivity in the state even easier. CM Dhami also stressed that in the last 10 years in the BJP government, work has been done to provide 24-hour electricity to hundreds of villages. Along with increasing MBBS seats in the medical college of the state, 15 medical colleges have been built.

In the last ten years, the BJP has taken a strong step towards good governance by freeing the state from corruption, he said.

"During the tenure of the Congress government, MSP was provided only on eight crops, whereas at present the BJP government is providing MSP on more than 24 crops in Haryana. Farmers have always been the priority of the BJP government. BJP government in Haryana has also taken unprecedented decisions in the direction of increasing the income of farmers," he added.

Voting for the 90-member legislative assembly in Haryana will be held on October 5. Votes will be counted on October 8 along with that in Jammu and Kashmir. (ANI)
