BRS Working President and MLA Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) launched a scathing attack on Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's leadership, accusing his government of inefficiency.

During a visit to the residence of BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy, KTR addressed the media and criticised the Congress government's performance over the past nine months.

KTR expressed dissatisfaction with the Congress's promises, specifically Revanth Reddy's commitment to transforming the lives of Telangana's citizens within 100 days through the party's six guarantees. "He [Revanth Reddy] stated that he will change the lives of the people in 100 days with the six guarantees. In this way, the Congress government earned the name of cheating the people in the shortest time possible," KTR said.

KTR also accused Revanth Reddy of diverting attention from real issues by using inappropriate language. He referred to an incident where Revanth Reddy allegedly placed Congress scarves on 10 BRS MLAs. "As part of attention diversion politics, Revanth Reddy is using chillar language. He himself wore Congress scarves to 10 BRS MLAs by going around their houses," KTR stated.

He further pointed out that Congress claimed 10 MLAs had defected from BRS, and more would follow. However, after the High Court's verdict on the matter, KTR said Congress was playing a new drama. "We have been saying from gully to Delhi that all the defected MLAs will surely be disqualified," he said.

KTR praised Kaushik Reddy and Vivekanand for signing the first disqualification petition against the defected MLAs. He explained that when there was no response from the Speaker, they approached the High Court. "We thank the High Court for its verdict. Your verdict strengthens democracy," KTR added. He also challenged the defected MLAs to resign and contest elections again.

Taking another swipe at Revanth Reddy, KTR reminded the public of a previous statement where Revanth Reddy urged people to beat defected MLAs with stones. "Earlier, Revanth Reddy himself had stated that the public should beat the defected MLAs with stones. No one from our party has talked at such a low level," KTR said.

KTR also addressed the recent appointment of defected MLA Arekapudi Gandhi as the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Chairman, calling it a "new drama." He questioned Gandhi's party allegiance and criticised the attack on one of their MLAs' houses. "They attacked in a cinematic style with 20-25 vehicles and police escort. If anything had happened, who would be responsible? The Home Minister? The Chief Minister?" KTR said.

Expressing frustration with the law and order situation, KTR also claimed that nobody knows who the Home Minister is and called the Chief Minister inefficient in controlling the situation. "The Chief Minister is inefficient in controlling law and order," he said.

He also questioned the loyalty of defected MLAs. "Which party are you, Gandhi? All the defected MLAs should tell which party they are," KTR said. He accused Revanth Reddy of starting a dangerous tradition that would backfire in the future. KTR also vowed not to spare the police officials who accompanied Arekapudi Gandhi during the attack. "We will not leave alone the police officials who came along with Arekapudi Gandhi. The CI and ACP of this area should be suspended," KTR said.

KTR also reaffirmed that the BRS party would continue to question Revanth Reddy's government on its six guarantees, no matter the obstacles. "Whatever you do, we will continue to question your six guarantees," KTR declared.(ANI)
