Poonam Dhillon urges producers to cast through CINTAA, says "middlemen cannot take undue advantage"

Speaking about the initiative, Dhillon made an appeal to producers to send their casting requirements to CINTAA. She said the association will provide actors without charging any commission from either the producers or the actors.

"Today, I would like to make an appeal to all the producers that if you need any actors, please send your requirements to CINTAA. Without charging any commission, and without charging anything from the actors or from you, we will try to provide you with the best actors. We have many actors registered with us."

She also said CINTAA has recently started its own casting initiative to help members get more work. Calling it an "actively trying" effort, Dhillon shared that the association has also created a dedicated portal for producers.

"Recently, CINTAA has also started casting so that our members can get more work opportunities. This is something we are actively trying to do. We have also created a portal for producers."

Speaking about building a "direct connection" between actors and producers, Dhillon requested filmmakers to share all their casting requirements with CINTAA. She said the association would try its best to provide suitable actors for every role while ensuring that middlemen do not take undue advantage of artists.

"I would request all producers to please share your requirements with us, whether you need newcomers, established actors, or actors for any specific role. We will try our best to help you. This will help us create a direct connection between actors and producers, so that middlemen cannot take undue advantage in between."

Last year, in a conversation with ANI, Dhillon, who is also the President of CINTAA, had spoken about the struggles faced by many small-time actors in the industry and the need to create better work opportunities for them. (ANI)
