New Delhi [India], May 18: Victora L.I.F.E Foundation and Radisson Blu Greater Noida came together once again to observe International Thalassemia Day 2026 as part of their continued commitment to meaningful social initiatives and community engagement.

Victora L.I.F.E Foundation, an initiative by Victora Industries, has been actively working toward social welfare, awareness initiatives, and community-driven causes under the leadership of S. S. Banga, popularly known as the "Tree Man of Faridabad" for his remarkable environmental and social contributions. Joining the initiative were Meenu Banga and Daman Banga, who continue to actively support and strengthen the foundation's vision of creating meaningful awareness and positive community impact.

Over the years, this awareness initiative has become an important annual commitment for Radisson Blu Greater Noida, reflecting the brand's culture of compassion, inclusivity, and responsible hospitality. Following the impactful response received last year, this year's initiative was planned on a larger scale, with the participation of renowned medical experts, social advocates, healthcare professionals, and children affected by thalassemia, to further strengthen awareness around early diagnosis, patient support, and voluntary blood donation.

The initiative aimed to spread awareness about Thalassemia and create a platform that brought together healthcare experts, supporters, families, and young thalassemia warriors in a warm and supportive environment.

The event was attended by distinguished guests, including Richa Anirudh, renowned journalist, anchor, and producer; Foundation Against Thalassemia founder and general secretary Ravindra Dudeja; Sudhir Chandra, former Head of Department at Safdarjung Hospital; Pramila Ramnis Baitha, Internal Medicine Specialist at Fortis Hospital; and Sanju Yadav from Government Institute of Medical Sciences, along with several healthcare professionals and supporters associated with the cause.

As part of its ongoing awareness efforts, Radisson Blu Greater Noida also announced its annual blood donation camp, scheduled for 14 May 2026, to further support the cause and encourage greater community participation.

The initiative was hosted by Anirban Sarkar, Vice President - Operations at Victora Hospitalities Pvt. Ltd. and General Manager of Radisson Blu Greater Noida, along with Mahender Pal Singh, HR Director at Victora Hospitalities Pvt. Ltd., who continue to support and encourage impactful social and community-driven initiatives.

Through such initiatives, Radisson Blu Greater Noida and Victora L.I.F.E Foundation continue to go beyond hospitality by creating platforms that celebrate care, humanity, and meaningful social impact.
