New Delhi [India], February 13: EnerSynk Group today announced the global launch of FORESTA, described as the world's first deployable living forest -- a modular, containerized carbon capture and air purification system powered by advanced microalgae photobioreactor technology. Designed to address rising urban emissions, limited land availability, and accelerating net-zero commitments, FORESTA enables measurable carbon removal, air purification, and biological production within a compact footprint of approximately 14 square meters. "Climate timelines are accelerating, and cities cannot rely solely on long-term natural regeneration," said Jason Temasfieldt, Founder of EnerSynk Group. "FORESTA is engineered climate infrastructure delivering immediate, measurable environmental performance in locations where emissions are concentrated and land is scarce." According to EnerSynk, each FORESTA unit: - Captures CO 10-50 times faster than trees- Generates approximately 35 lbs (16 kg) of clean oxygen per day- Filters air pollutants including NOx, SOx, VOCs, and PM2.5- Produces renewable biomass suitable for biofuels, fertilizers, nutraceuticals, and pharmaceutical inputs- Generates approximately 16 carbon credits annually- Delivers environmental impact equivalent to 700 mature trees EnerSynk estimates that achieving comparable carbon capture through conventional afforestation would require approximately 30,000 square meters of forest land and decades of growth. Technology Partnership FORESTA integrates patented microalgae photobioreactor systems developed by European climate-technology firm Microalgaex, which holds the intellectual property behind the cultivation and carbon capture process. "Our objective at Microalgaex has always been to industrialize microalgae as a scalable climate solution," said Giuliano Regonesi, Founder of Microalgaex. Operational & Commercial Model Within each closed-loop photobioreactor, microalgae absorb carbon dioxide through accelerated photosynthesis while filtering harmful pollutants associated with respiratory and cardiovascular health risks. The system continuously produces oxygen and nutrient-rich biomass. Beyond its environmental performance, FORESTA establishes a recurring revenue model built on three pillars: carbon credits, ESG compliance infrastructure, and biomass monetization. "The real breakthrough is not only carbon removal -- it is the business model behind microalgae," said Dr. Huzaifa Khorakiwala, Chairman of EnerSynk Group. "Microalgae biomass is a high-value biological feedstock with applications across biofuels, sustainable agriculture, nutraceuticals, animal feed, cosmetics, and specialty chemicals. FORESTA converts emissions into revenue-generating biological output, creating a financially sustainable climate solution." Her Excellency Ameenah Gurib-Fakim, former President of Mauritius, commented: "Scientific innovation must translate into practical and scalable implementation. FORESTA offers a science-based pathway toward cleaner air, healthier cities, and measurable climate progress -- integrating environmental responsibility with economic viability." Deployment & Expansion FORESTA systems are already operational in Turkey, Spain, Italy, and China. EnerSynk Group confirmed that expansion is underway across Europe, India, and the Middle East, with additional municipal and industrial pilot projects expected to be announced later in 2026. The modular format allows installation in high-density environments including airports, hospitals, data centers, manufacturing facilities, ports, commercial complexes, and urban districts. "If natural forests are the lungs of the planet," Temasfieldt added, "FORESTA is the artificial lung -- engineered to operate wherever climate performance is required immediately."
