Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav launched the State-Level Praveshotsav-2026 (Admission fest) under the "School Chalein Hum" campaign at a Model Higher Secondary School in Bhopal on Wednesday. During the programme, CM Yadav distributed free bicycles, textbooks, and other study materials to the students and extended his best wishes to them for a bright future.

Addressing the occasion, CM Yadav said, "The state government is working in coordination with Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the country's development. The "School Chalein Hum" campaign will be conducted across Madhya Pradesh from April 1 to April 4, during which children will be enrolled in schools. Students in the state are being provided quality education along with free textbooks, uniforms, and bicycles. Due to improved facilities, there has been a significant increase in enrollment rates, and the dropout rate has also come down to zero."

The Chief Minister congratulated the School Education Department for bringing the dropout rate in government schools down to zero.

He noted that the admission process for Classes 1, 6, and 9 has been simplified, leading to a significant 19.6 percent increase in total enrollment for the academic year 2025-26. Government schools in the state have also recorded a 32.4 percent growth, reflecting increasing public trust in the system.

"369 grand and well-equipped Sandipani schools have been established in the state, which are among the best in the country. These schools offer all facilities for the holistic development of students. Along with this, PM Shri Schools are also playing a significant role in strengthening the modern education system," the CM said.

He further stressed that efforts are being made to ensure access to education for every child in the state. From primary to higher secondary levels, improved facilities are being provided in schools to encourage students to attend classes regularly. (ANI)
