Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian provided details of a phone conversation between Foreign Minister Wang Yi and his counterpart from Bahrain, Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, as tensions continue to rise across the Gulf region.

In reply, Wang Yi conveyed China's deep concern, noting that "the situation in the Gulf region is escalating rapidly, and Bahrain's security is also being undermined, which China is deeply concerned about.
