As the world condemns the Pahlgam Terror attack, Israel's Ambassador to India, Reuven Azar, said that such criminals always try to intimidate others.

Azar, while talking to ANI, said that despite the terrorists efforts, India will be more determined to fight back.

"Well, we always have copycats and these criminals always try to find new ways to intimidate us. We of course have to follow that, have to follow how they think, how they operate, and I'm sure that they will try to continue, but I'm also sure we'll be more determined and we'll invest more in fighting this phenomenon," he said.

He further told ANI that the Israeli side has always cooperated with India on a broad basis, and will continue the cooperation in the times to come.

"It's completely up to the Indian government. I'm sure that they know how to work. We've seen how the situation has been stabilized in the past, thanks to the efforts of the government. So we don't speak about operational issues that have to do with a single event. We try to cooperate together in a broader basis in order to see how to deal with the threats generally, how to improve the means to fight terrorism, whether it be intelligence-wise, technology-wise, methodology, etc. So we will continue this cooperation in future," he said.

Azar said that Israel will not recommend what should be done, as India has far better knowledge on the issue.

"As I said, Israel is not in the business of recommending other countries what to do on a particular case. I'm sure that the Indian government and the authorities here have much better intelligence about the situation in the trans-border area and how to deal with this issue," he said.

Azar said that they will cooperate when it comes to general terms.

"As I said, we are going to concentrate in cooperation when it comes to, in general terms, when it comes to methodology when to technology, when it to intelligence, and this is very important work that that we'll continue doing," he said.

Meanwhile, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) team visited the Pahalgam terror attack site on Wednesday to support the Jammu and Kashmir (J-K) Police in probing what is considered the deadliest assault on civilians in the region in almost twenty years.

Official sources privy to the development told ANI that "the NIA team members will be assisting the Jammu and Kashmir Police in the investigation." (ANI)
