Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday paid homage to Former Prime Minister of Mauritius Seewoosagur Ramgoolam and former President of Mauritius Anerood Jugnauth at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden, Pamplemousses, Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, Randhir Jaiswal said.
Jaiswal said that PM Modi planted a Bael sapling in the garden, contributing to the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' initiative alongwith Mauritius Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam.
