Pakistan made a comeback in the second Test against England as they restricted the visitors to 239 for 6 at the end of second day's play after scoring 366 runs in their first innings.

Harry Brook, who scored a triple century in the previous match, could only manage nine runs in this innings before being bowled by Sajid, who completed a four-wicket haul. As the day concluded, Jamie Smith (12*) and Brydon Carse (2*) were at the crease, with England facing a challenging situation. The match remains finely poised as Day 3 approaches, with Pakistan's bowlers looking to capitalize on their momentum.
