Cupertino based tech giant Apple has released a new update for Safari Technology Preview 137 with a number of bug fixes and performance improvements.

Safari Technology Preview release 137 comes with performance improvements for Web Inspector, CSS, JavaScript, WebAssembly, Experimental Model Element, Accessibility, Web API, Content Security Policy, Media, Apple Pay, and Web Extensions, reports MacRumors.

The latest version of Safari Technology Preview is an experimental version of Safari for users running a Mac that currently has macOS Big Sur or macOS Monterey installed.

In addition, the latest version of Safari includes new features like Live Text, a redesigned tab experience, and more. The update has also added 120Hz refresh rates for the new 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro models.

After launching for developers, the first macOS 12.2 beta is now available for those in the public beta programme.

The update features a new native Apple Music app with faster search and scrolling, and a fix for scrolling in Safari with ProMotion on MacBook Pro.

Users can also download it from Apple's Developer website or public beta website if they are not running the beta yet, it added.

macOS 12.2 features some notable changes with a new, native Apple Music app.
