Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Saturday flagged off the first goods train from the newly-constructed rail yard at Integrated Multi Modal Logistics Hub (IMLH) at Nangal Chaudhary in Narnaul in Mahendragarh district.

Speaking on the occasion, Saini credited the project to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, calling it a direct reflection of the Centre's 'Viksit Bharat' vision.

"It is all happening with the blessings and under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This is the very embodiment of the Prime Minister's vision of a 'Viksit Bharat'," Saini said.

Highlighting the state's road infrastructure push, the Chief Minister said Haryana now has comprehensive highway connectivity across all its districts. "Today, look at Haryana and indeed the entire country. In Haryana, there isn't a single district left that isn't connected by four-lane highways, expressways or greenfield expressways. Every district is connected," he said.

Saini described the Narnaul facility as a major integrated logistics hub that would strengthen the region's economy. "This is a massive integrated logistics hub. As I mentioned, this region will become economically stronger. Today, the first train from here has been flagged off, and many private players present here are showing interest. This region will develop into an economic hub," he added.

The IMLH is coming up at Nangal Chaudhary in the Mahendragarh district, near Narnaul, and is being positioned as one of North India's largest logistics hubs once completed. The state government has been expediting land acquisition and infrastructure works for the project, with officials indicating that the completion of Phase-I would pave the way for Phase-II development.

The Chief Minister's visit comes amid a broader push by the state government to position Haryana as a leading manufacturing and logistics hub, with parallel projects including the Hisar Integrated Manufacturing Cluster also under active development. (ANI)
