A BJP delegation on Saturday lodged a complaint against the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav over an alleged objectionable video and said that "the sentiments of crores of workers have been hurt"

The purported video was shared on the party's official Facebook page.

BJP leader Danish Iqbal said that they have lodged a first Information Report against Tejashwi Yadav.

"A video was posted on the RJD's official Facebook page in which BJP workers--numbering in the crores--were openly subjected to abusive language. The words used in this abuse are unfit for use in a civilized society. Our female workers, who number in the lakhs and crores, were also targeted with this abuse. The BJP is the world's largest political party; hurling abuse at its workers reflects the RJD's nature, its conduct, and its history. The sentiments of crores of workers have been hurt. We have lodged an FIR against Tejashwi Yadav, demanding that punitive action be taken against him in accordance with the law and the provisions of the IT Act, and that the offensive video be immediately deleted from the RJD's official Facebook page."

The BJP leader further stated that the party had written to Meta, seeking permanent removal of the alleged offensive content from the platform.

We have also formally written to Meta, insisting that the video be permanently deleted without delay..."

The development comes amid a political tussle between the BJP and RJD in Bihar, with both parties frequently attacking each other over various issues. (ANI)
