Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha said that the state government is working towards the education, economic development, social security and dignified living of minority communities, guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas."

After inaugurating the scheme and handing over financial assistance to beneficiaries on Wednesday, the Chief Minister addressed the gathering and reiterated the state government's commitment to the welfare and socio-economic development of minority communities.

Speaking at the event, Saha highlighted various initiatives undertaken by the government for inclusive development and said that the administration is working to ensure that welfare benefits reach every eligible beneficiary.

"Keeping the mantra of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji at the forefront, the present government is working towards ensuring education, economic development, social security, and a life of dignity for nearly 16 per cent of the state's total population comprising minorities, alongside the goal of all-round development. I am extremely delighted to have participated today in the loan distribution programme for minority beneficiaries at Pragna Bhavan in Agartala. In the presence of people from various minority communities, the message of unity in diversity has been reflected. This is how we want everyone to live together in harmony", he said.

He also urged beneficiaries to make effective use of the financial assistance to improve their livelihoods and become economically self-reliant.

The event was attended by senior government officials, public representatives, and beneficiaries from different parts of the state, marking another step in Tripura's efforts to promote economic empowerment and social inclusion among minority communities.

Earlier on July 28, the Tripura government signed three Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the National Stock Exchange (NSE) to strengthen financial literacy, promote entrepreneurship and create a vibrant investment ecosystem in the state.

The agreements aim to improve financial awareness, support micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), enhance the skills of government officials and equip young people with knowledge of capital markets and financial planning.

Announcing the development, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha said the partnerships mark a significant step towards opening a new era of economic development through greater access to capital markets."These strategic partnerships will empower our youth, support MSMEs, enhance the capacity of government officials and promote a vibrant investment ecosystem," the Chief Minister said in a social media post.
