Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Saturday launched a fresh attack on the Centre over alleged examination paper leaks, blaming the BJP-led government for the paper leak "mafia" operating "fearlessly".

He also slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the issue.

In a post on X, Congress MP wrote, "Open Auction of the Future. Paper Leak Rate Card:* NEET - 40 lakh* IIT-JEE - 15 lakh * Uttarakhand Patwari - 15 lakh * Bihar Teacher Recruitment - 10 lakh * Odisha Police Recruitment - 25 lakh Whoever has the money picks the paper from the menu. And the one who just works hard loses their dream."

"152 paper leaks, 7.5 crore students affected, and punishment? Not a single one. This is the real power of this mafia - sell children's futures, make money, and roam around fearlessly. Modi ji, every student in the country is asking you this - under whose patronage is this gang so fearless?" the post read.

Meanwhile, Delhi Police took Sonam Wangchuk from the Jantar Mantar protest site to Safdarjung Hospital following health concerns after his prolonged hunger strike.

Wangchuk has been on a hunger strike for 20 days, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged nationwide examination irregularities, including the NEET paper leak controversy.

Safdarjung Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Charu Bamba said Wangchuk was stable but had mild dehydration and weakness due to prolonged fasting.

Delhi Police said Wangchuk was shifted to the hospital in compliance with the Delhi High Court's directions and on medical advice due to his deteriorating health. (ANI)
