BJP MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy on Tuesday said the party is witnessing a "rejuvenation" in Telangana following BJP National President Nitin Nabin's first visit to the state after taking charge.

Speaking to ANI, Reddy said farmers are receiving Rs 1.2 lakh annually from the Centre and expressed confidence that the BJP will form the next government.

"There was a plateau. Now there's a rejuvenation, starting with Nitin Nabin's first visit to Telangana after he became the president of the BJP...Telangana farmers are getting Rs 1.2 lakh per annum from the centre...it's a resurgence of the BJP. We are going to form the next government."

BJP MP Eatala Rajender said that after the Bengal elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had delivered a clear political message against the current ruling dispensation, alleging corruption and weakening of welfare schemes.

"Following the Bengal elections, PM Narendra Modi held a major public meeting where he delivered a clear message - the current regime, characterised by corruption and the dismantling of welfare activities, must be ousted...Nitin Nabin's 3-day visit has generated momentum. A sentiment is building to ensure a BJP victory, propel Telangana forward, and put an end to the corrupt government," he told ANI.

Earlier, on Monday, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin offered prayers at the revered Bhadrakali Mata Temple in Warangal during his visit to Telangana.

Nabin was accompanied by Telangana BJP President Ramchander Rao and other senior party leaders.

Nabin's visit to the temple comes as part of his outreach programme in Telangana, where the BJP has been intensifying its organisational activities ahead of future electoral contests. During his visit, he was joined by Telangana BJP President Ramchander Rao and other party functionaries.

The BJP leader also underlined the party's commitment to preserving and developing centres of cultural and spiritual importance across the country. He said the party was determined to promote the historic Bhadrakali temple and enhance its significance as an important place of faith. (ANI)
