Dev Sanskriti University Vice Chancellor Chinmay Pandya remembered Union Home Minister Amit Shah, ahead of his visit to Uttarakhand's Haridwar, saying they feel a great sense of belonging and respect whenever the Union Minister is in their company.

The Vice Chancellor recounted an instance from the Union Minister's earlier visit, that while addressing the students, he remarked that they should never forget the values and the Gayatri Mantra.

"The preparations are going very well, and we feel a great sense of belonging and respect when he is among us. He has a very deep and long-standing relationship with the Gayatri Parivar. During his last visit, he clearly told our students to forget their degrees, but not to forget the Gayatri Mantra," Pandya told ANI.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to visit Haridwar and Pauri Garhwal.

Ahead of the visit, Uttarakhand DGP Deepam Seth stated that all programme venues have been inspected in detail and the Uttarakhand Police is fully prepared for the VVIP visit. As the program spans three districts and involves multiple events, separate security and logistical arrangements have been made for each location.

"A comprehensive security plan has been prepared, which includes today's briefing of the forces deployed here, a full rehearsal, and a minute-to-minute schedule. All the programme venues have been inspected in great detail. The Uttarakhand Police is fully prepared for the entire VVIP visit programme. Since the programme is spread across three districts with different events, separate arrangements have been made for each. Senior officers of SSP rank have been deployed along the entire route. Overall supervision is being handled by the IG, Law and Order, IG Garhwal Range, and above them, the ADG, Law and Order, and the DG, Intelligence. All of them are monitoring the entire program," Seth told reporters. (ANI)
