A young girl named Jyoti Solanki artistically highlighted the valour of Operation Sindoor at the Shaurya Sabha presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Somnath Swabhiman Parv in Gujarat on Sunday.

Hailing from Ratidhar village in Talala, Jyoti Solanki attended the Shaurya Sabha and enthusiastically presented an artistic sketch depicting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Operation Sindoor's success.

Jyoti, a Class 10 student and an admirer of the Prime Minister, said that PM Modi is working tirelessly for the nation's progress in a selfless manner.

She added that the success of Operation Sindoor, which aimed to safeguard the country and protect it from terrorism, inspired her to create the artwork. The sketch features a portrait of Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with the inscription "OPERATION SINDOOR," symbolising the bravery of the Indian armed forces. The date of Operation Sindoor has also been mentioned in the artwork.

A large gathering at the Shaurya Sabha witnessed an energetic and inspiring address by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During the event, people displayed placards carrying messages such as "Sashwat ane Avinashi Somnath" (Eternal and Indestructible Somnath) and "Undivided India - Undivided Somnath", highlighting Somnath as a symbol of India's identity, according to a release.

Addressing the massive gathering after the culmination of the Shaurya Yatra, the Prime Minister hit out at "people with a colonial mindset" in post-Independence historical narratives for attempting to "erase history" of India's glorious past.

"Unfortunately, after independence, people with a colonial mindset tried to get rid of our glorious past. They tried all they could to erase history. Those who fought for the Somnath Temple were not given their due recognition and importance. Some historians and politicians even tried to whitewash the history of these invaders. Religious invasion was labelled as loot.

Our textbooks teach that the Somnath Temple was demolished to loot its treasures. The cruel history of hate, atrocities and terror was hidden from us," PM Modi said. (ANI)
