A woman has been arrested in connection with the murder of a South Korean national, who was allegedly killed after being stabbed with a knife, police said.
The Greater Noida Police on Sunday identified the deceased as 'Duck Hee Yuh'. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Greater Noida Sudhir Kumar told ANI that the victim was stabbed by his live-in partner, Lunjeana Pamai, who hailed from Thangai in Manipur. He informed that the victim used to consume alcohol, over which the two would often quarrel. The woman allegedly stabbed the victim over an argument, he added. "He used to drink alcohol, with whom he used to quarrel with his partner. They had an argument, and the woman stabbed him, resulting in his death. The body has been sent for the post-mortem. A case has been registered under the relevant sections, and further action is being taken," ADCP Kumar said. The police have registered a case at the Knowledge Park Police Station. "During the investigation, police found that the accused woman had allegedly stabbed him to death with a knife. The two had been living together in a live-in relationship for a considerable period. A case has been registered at the Knowledge Park Police Station, and the accused woman has been arrested," police said. The police said that the victim was brought dead to the hospital by the accused Lunjeana Pamai, who was in a live-in relationship with him. "A South Korean national, Duck Hee Yuh, was brought dead to GIMS Hospital on January 4, 2026. Preliminary investigation revealed that the deceased was admitted to the hospital by Lunjeana Pamai, a resident of Thangal in Manipur," police said. Further investigation is underway. (ANI)
