The Special Intensive Revision process in Ayodhya has reached its final stage, with saints expressing strong enthusiasm, describing it as an important moment for national unity.

Sitaram Das Ji Maharaj, the religious leader in Ayodhya, welcomed the SIR process, calling it an infallible remedy against the alleged ongoing infiltration in the country, and urged the public to participate in this campaign to purify the voter list.

"This is an infallible remedy against the daily infiltration in our country, the continuous encroachment and occupation of our land. Under the leadership of the government administration, we have conducted public outreach, and the forms are reaching every household through BLOs. They are constantly contacting us, asking if anyone has been left out. They have come here three or four times, given the forms, and explained the process of filling out the SIR form," Sitaram Das ji told ANI.

Vishnu Das Ji Maharaj, a saint from Ayodhya, stated that the Election Commission of India, through SIR, is taking measures to benefit the people and enhance the security of the nation.

"SIR is a very good, and I would like to thank the Election Commission of India. I am very happy because the Election Commission is taking steps for the benefit of the people and for the security of the nation. All citizens of the nation have the right to vote....The ECI is giving proof of that. For a long time....The improvement in SIR is for a large society and for national security," he said.

Meanwhile, Lok Sabha is set to continue discussions on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise initiated by the Election Commission of India (ECI) on the eighth day of the ongoing winter session of Parliament.

Senior Congress MP Manish Tewari opened the debate yesterday, with Leader of Opposition (LoP) Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi extending the discussion from the opposition side, levelling serious accusations that the EC is colluding with the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to "shape elections".Gandhi said that vote theft was an anti-national act.

Apart from Gandhi, Senior Congress leaders were listed to participate in the debate on election reforms, including KC Venugopal, Manish Tewari, Varsha Gaikwad, Mohammed Javaid, Ujjwal Raman Singh, Isa Khan, Ravi Mallu, Imran Masood, Gowaal Padavi, and S Jyotimani. A total of 10 hours has been earmarked for the entire discussion in the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha. (ANI)
