Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Saurabh Bharadwaj on Thursday took a jab at Prime Minister Narendra Modi alleging that the latter's visit to LNJP hospital to meet the injured victims of the Delhi blast was just a photo opportunity as the patients were given a "costume of plaster" during the visit.

Posting two pictures on X, Bharadwaj highlighted one picture from the Prime Minister's visit on Wednesday and Chief Minister Rekha Gupta's visiting the injured on Tuesday (November 11). Highlighting that both the CM and PM met the same victim, the AAP leader alleged that a "new costume, and a new plaster" was put on the patient when the PM visited.

"Nov 11, 2025 CM Rekha Gupta met the patient before. Nov 12, 2025 the next day, PM Modi met the same patient. New costume, new plaster in hand," the AAP leader's X post read.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met those injured in the November 10 blast at the LNJP hospital on Wednesday. He said that those behind the conspiracy will be brought to justice.

"Went to LNJP Hospital and met those injured during the blast in Delhi. Praying for everyone's quick recovery. Those behind the conspiracy will be brought to justice!" PM Modi said in a post on X.

PM Modi drove straight to the LNJP Hospital after returning from a two-day visit to Bhutan. He interacted with the injured and inquired about their health. During his visit, the Prime Minister was briefed by senior officials and doctors about the condition of the victims and the treatment being provided.

Meanwhile, a joint team of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) and Delhi Police on Thursday recovered a body part in New Lajpat Rai Market, near the blast site in the national capital, which claimed 12 lives.

The body part was taken for forensic examination to aid the ongoing investigation. Security agencies have seized diaries of blast case accused Dr Umar and Dr Muzammil, which has mention of dates November 8 to 12, indicating that the planning was underway for such an incident during that period, sources said.

According to the information obtained from the diaries, it can be said that the blast was to be carried out as part of a well-planned conspiracy. (ANI)
