Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) National President Mukesh Sahni asserted that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar cannot be given the responsibility of the state as he is struggling with health issues. He also urged voters to give young politicians a chance to take over.

"There is a wave of change in the entire state. In 2005, people felt he should be given a chance... In 2010, he indeed did development in the state. In 2015, he became CM with Lalu Yadav's support because he had nothing of his own. In 2020, he somehow became CM with the support of the BJP and VIP... We don't have any complaints from him, but since he is unwell, he cannot be given the responsibility of the entire state's population," he said.

Meanwhile, JDU candidate from Belaganj, Manorama Devi, stated that she has been receiving tremendous support. Hailing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, she highlighted the development work undertaken in Bihar after the NDA formed the state government.

"I have been getting more and more support since last time... No work has been done in our area for 35 years, so much remains to be done. Comparing 35 years and 9 months, the work isn't immediately visible, but some progress is definitely visible. A lot of roads have been built, and a lot of work has been completed... Seeing the work of PM Modi and Nitish Kumar, people are realising that they should choose a leader who respects them and promotes development. Times have changed. Now everyone is educated and aware, and Nitish Kumar will be our leader," she asserted.

On the other hand, Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister and BJP candidate from Tarapur Assembly constituency, Samrat Choudhary, extended warm greetings on the occasion of Chhath Puja.

"I pray to Lord Surya and Chhathi Maiya for Bihar's prosperity and that the state can move forward, India can move forward..." he said.

Voting for the 243-seat Bihar Assembly will be held in two phases on November 6 and 11, with the results declared on November 14. (ANI)
