Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with MPs of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) attended the 'Sansad Karyashala' on Sunday, a two-day workshop organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party for the MPs to share their views on a diverse range of issues.
Notably, the Prime Minister was seen sitting in the last row and listening intently to the presentations and the program organised. Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal also presented a proposal regarding GST reform, which was supported by all party MP. In the proposal, PM Modi was thanked for the GST reform, according to sources. "Attended the 'Sansad Karyashala' in Delhi's GMC Balayogi auditorium. MP colleagues from all over India and other senior leaders exchanged valuable perspectives on diverse issues. The first session, "Towards a developed India", saw participation from various party leaders, including Kamlesh Paswan, Sudhanshu Trivedi, Bansuri Swaraj and Hemang Joshi. The session also included a special mention of the Prime Minister's vision on GST. The second session was on the topic of "Effective Use of Social Media by MPs", with multiple leaders, including Jyotirmoy Mahato, C.P. Joshi, Atul Gagga, Sangeeta Yadav and others speaking on the issue. In the afternoon, MPs broke into committee groups to discuss key sectors including agriculture, defence, energy, education, railways, and transport and more. Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, also present at the meeting, highlighted how PM Modi interacted with the MPs and gave them "visionary guidance" on the implementation of public welfare schemes, the organisation, and national interest. BJP MP Ravi Kishan, who attended the meeting also praised PM Modi for sitting at the last row, posting a picture on X with him sitting just a few feet away. (ANI)
