Union Minister of Food Processing Industries Chirag Paswan on Monday took a jibe at Tejashwi Yadav for Rashtriya Janata Dal's (RJD) Muslim-Yadav arrangement in the polls.

In an interview with ANI, Paswan, the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief stated that unlike the RJD, his party's MY arrangement is for the "Mahilayein-Yuva" (women and youth) of Bihar

"While Tejashwi Yadav is carrying on with the same old MY (Muslim-Yadav) arrangement of their party. His ideology is different, which promotes communalism and casteism. My MY arrangements stand for Mahilayein-Yuva," Paswan said.

He added that his vision is 'Bihar First, Bihari First' and claimed that he has a solution to all the problems in the State.

"My idea is to develop Bihar with the slogan 'Bihar First Bihari First'. I have worked extensively on this. I have a solution to all problems in Bihar," Paswan said.

During the interview, he expressed his wish to play a 'bigger role' in Bihar and contest the Assembly Elections.

When asked about a 'bigger role' in Bihar, Chirag Paswan said that now he "sees himself in Bihar."

The Union Minister said, "I see myself more in Bihar now. When you mention the 'role' so there are many question marks around it. My role would be that of a strong supporter of the alliance and to make Bihar a developed state."

Expressing his wish to contest the elections, he said that the vision of 'Bihar First, Bihari First' cannot be fulfilled by being part of the Central government.

"I want to contest the Bihar Assembly Elections. Having grown up in Delhi and worked in Mumbai, I have witnessed firsthand how Biharis are forced to live in difficult conditions in other states. I decided to return to Bihar to improve the condition of its people. 'Bihar First, Bihari First' isn't possible at the Centre, I will have to return to Bihar," he said.

Bihar is expected to undergo assembly elections later in the year. However, the Election Commission has not announced the dates as of yet.

LJP (Ram Vilas) is set to contest elections with the National Democratic Alliance led by the BJP and JD(U) in the state. (ANI)
